Sandplay Australia was established by Marg Garvan to train counsellors to work more effectively with their clients. Her vision is to bring Sandplay to as many professionals as possible. As a practitioner you will be amazed at the power of Sandplay. It will enhance your practice and bring an innovative approach to your work.
Whilst Sandplay was developing in the 1980's and 1990's, Marg Garvan in conjunction with Dr John James OAM and Hilary James, of The Crucible Centre, took sandplay to new levels. They have developed a style of sandplay called Active Sandplay.
Marg Garvan has a private practice at Richmond NSW called Ghandarva Wholistic Counselling Centre (www.gwcc.com.au). To manly locals she is known as the Sandplay Lady. At her practice she uses Sandplay to reveal what is happening with a client on a deeper level. Turning a "passive' sandplay into an "active' sandplay will take a client to a new level in their lives so that healing takes place. For the therapist this is not only highly rewarding but is truly empowering and will give you greater confidence and insight in your work. The results will amaze you.
